The emphasis this month was completing and making sure the roof was watertight thereby allowing much of the scaffolding to be taken down. This could not have been completed without the new double glazed windows which have now been installed. Externally, the old render was hacked off and replaced as much of it was in poor condition and could not be retained. Internally, the two first floor flats have moved from first fixing through to second fixing. Both now have boilers, bathrooms and are currently having their kitchens fitted. Elsewhere the top floor flats now have internal walls that are starting to be plastered. Behind the ceiling and external walls is a massive amount of insulation ensuring the flats comply with the latest building regs.
